How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill some health plans and not others. The front desk tells you which before your first visit. A plan may not pay for every visit, and it may not pay for training or performance work.
Some PPO and employer plans
Plans we do not bill are out of network
If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, you pay at the visit. Your doctor tells you what each part of care costs before it begins, and you can stop at any time.
Receipts for reimbursement
Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) after any visit. You can send it to a plan that reimburses out-of-network care. The plan decides what it pays.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before your visit.
Checking your benefits
Before your first visit, call the number on your insurance card and ask what your plan pays for chiropractic care and whether it limits visits. The front desk can help you with the questions to ask.
What the first visit includes
The first visit takes about 45 minutes: a talk, an exam and a movement check, then your doctor explains what was found. Wear what you train in.
